It was 1964 when Luciano Bagarini had the brilliant intuition of dedicating himself to the restoration of cars, where the passion for engines is combined with craftsmanship.
Since then, the Bagarini Auto Upholstery has always distinguished itself for the careful restorations of vintage cars, for the replacement of hoods for modern and historical cars and for the creation of leather interiors for any car. Special attention hai always been given to the restoration, both for the interiors and for the hoods.
From 1985, Luciano Bagarini was placed side to side in the family-run business “bottega” with his son Riccardo who, as a boy, began to learn all the secrets related to leather processing, saddlery and artisan upholstery.
The Upholstery Auto Bagarini – where mother Lucia managed the administrative part – became a perfect example of a family business.
Over the decades, Riccardo – always driven by the same passion of his father Luciano – has had the opportunity to follow the entire evolution of the world of cars and its important changes, maturing a competence, a mastery and professional knowledge that very few people have.
Over time, the Upholstery Auto Bagarini started to have interes in saddles for motorcycles, interiors and saddlery of boats, vans, campers, aircraft, work vehicles (seats of forklifts, cranes, agricultural machines), always using high quality material, approved and compliance.
More recently, the workshop has been expanded by the professionalism of Alessandro Dal Zovo, also from a family of artisans in the processing of leather – a sector in which he has been operating since the early 2000 and later specializing in motorcycle saddlery.
Today, 60 years later, the company has changed its name to Tappezzerie Bagarini, meaning a widening of its horizons and creating a new brand for the Health & Wellness Division.
But the passion for craftsmanship and attention to details that have distinguished the company for over 60 years have remained the same. Because attention to detail makes the difference.
